The Last of Us
the last of us is a comedy show about a middle aged man having beef with a teenage. highly recommend it.
Initial thoughts
I’ve waited for this to air since 2019 after I’ve first watched Game of Thrones with my brother. I met this girl at Dawson who was a fan of this game. I’ve talked to her about it and she was also looking forward to it.
Some simple premise, it is a game adaptation to the same name from Naughty Dogg. Story is set in a post-apocalyptic world (US) where there is a viral fungus that turns people in so called zombies. We follow Joel and Ellie in their adventure through the US.
Halfway through
First, I thought it would just a zombie show. But now that I am 4 episodes in, it is very much more than that. It is emotional, deep, about love and relationship and what it can do to us. There is character development especially between Joel and Ellie that we observe in episode 4. Concretely, in this episode we realize that Joel actually cares for her, also that he quite likes her jokes too.
