Denis Villeneuve
Very proud of this French-Canadian director from Quebec to have reached this level of success in Hollywood and movie industry. I’ve known him since forever. He had some breakaways with Arrival, Prisoners and Sicario but Dune is where’s it at. You can see his success and how respected he is by how much freedom and control he has over when making Dune.
Probably the one of the most exciting working director nowadays. I consider him at his peak right now as of February 2024.
Dune Part Two is about to release tomorrow on March 1 in Canada and I just can’t wait to go see it on the big screen.
