Masters of the Air

After watching Band of Brothers and the Pacific with my family. I’ve been waiting for this to air for forever. Now, it’s finally here. But I have school and can’t watch it. Plan is to watch it Saturday or Sunday when I go back for reading week before my dad has to leave for work.

Produced by the same executive producers on the Band of Brothers and The Pacific.

After going back home for reading week during my 3A term, I convinced my dad and brother to watch the first two episodes with me. We had a good time. Next time I’m back from Waterloo, we’ll definitely finish it up. Only 5 episodes are out as of right now.

First impression is how well the score is. Of course, composed by the same guy that did The Pacific, score is touching and immediately sets the tone at the get go. The casting is well-done as well. I love our two main protagonists Buck and Bucky. I have to also mention Barry Keoghan. He has such a presence on screen.

The story so far has been well-paced. They do a good enough job to put us up to speed without waisting too much time and get to the action (actual mission and bombing). It’s kinda funny how they need a narrator to narrate some historic facts so that the audience can follow and understand the different approach from the UK and the USA have to the bombing campaigns.
