Avatar The Way of Water

First thoughts

Watched on December 26th 2022 with my brother at the Forum in VIP seats. To be honest, the seats are very comfy and I quite liked the experienced. I grew up with Avatar, therefore I am biased. Let’s keep this in mind. I remember vividly going to the cinema with my entire family to go see the first Avatar in 3D. It was exciting. I remember being scared as well as my dad sleeping through half the movie. Nonetheless, this film really showed me, as a kid, the power of animationtechnique James Cameron was experiencing with.

Around Jake

This film, unlike the first one, didn’t center around Jake. Instead, it took a look at people around him. Specifically, a lot of scenes were shot from his second son’s perspective. Which was interesting as he isn’t the most interesting character in the first one. It was a really good idea from James Cameron to have made this conscious decision.
