- started mainly working in England.
- Worked with The Buggles (Video Killed The Radio Star 1979)
- 1980 working on hingles brought him to the attention of British film composer, Stanley Myers.

What Hans has done with Dune is what John Williams did with Star Wars and what Howard Shore did with The Lord Of The Rings, he gave a huge anthem for an entire world
