Firstly, this is what ’𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐞𝐬’ do:

  • Retain data at the client side for a period of time
  • Automatically return to the server on every request

Think of ‘Cookies’ as small notes your computer keeps. They remember things for a while, and every time you visit a website, they share some info with that site.
However, ‘Cookies’ have limits. They’re like post-it notes, not suitable for holding big or secret information.

And therefore, Cookies have one limitation. It is not suitable for keeping sensitive data or large amounts of data.
