Activity 3: Grand River Watershed Reservoirs - a case study infographic

In this activity, you will partner in groups of 3 to design an infographic for the public that depicts the use of reservoirs in the Grand River Watershed (GRW) and other relevant information regarding water management in the GRW. In class on Thursday, Feb 8 you will see a presentation regarding the GRW that will help you understand more about the system. These slides will be uploaded on Learn as well.

For those of you in class, you will form your groups of 3 and self-enroll here in Learn  and begin work on your infographic. Those not in class will be automatically enrolled into groups after class and it will be YOUR responsibility to arrange the completion of the infographic. Each group will have a designated Discussion Forum on Learn to coordinate and communicate. Use it to your advantage! Only your group will be able to see what is in your forum.

Coming to class on February 8th can only help your grade as you will get the opportunity to speak to me more about the process of designing this infographic and how you will be graded. However, coming to class this day will not get you a bonus point this time. It will give you the opportunity to meet with your group in person as there will be time at the end of class to discuss your plan of action and begin the creation process. I will give a presentation that is vital to the activity but will post the slides here following the lecture.
